Lanfranchino
A big, thick sans serif headline. Inspired by the inscriptions on the facade of Palazzo Lanfranchi, the historical museum of Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It has 237 glyphs, the only Roman capital. Each letter has multiple alternatives, multiple ligatures. There are two sets of numbers: the proportional Arabs and the Romans. The typeface is designed to obtain simple and different variants of glyphs. As simple as possible.
