The Nemici exhibition explores the visual representation of the war enemy during the period of the First World War. Through a selection of 200 historical postcards, illustrated by famous European authors, it investigates a difficult moment in 20th century history between forced propaganda and latent satire. The studio has designed the visual identity, the layout and the catalogue.
The integrated project reinterprets visual and architectural elements typical of wartime Heterotopia. In this sense, the obsessive scheme of the "N" becomes a visual metaphor of trench, barricade and barbed wire; while the exhibition frame relives occasional and semi-permanent structures and shelters of the Great War.
